Support login

The purpose of the support login page is to enhance support to our clients. Previously, the support team has shared Administrator or Superuser credentials to log in. The sharing of login credentials should be avoided, and Support staff should have their own credentials to access the environments of clients. To meet this security standard, a dedicated login portal for Sitecore Content Hub Support users (24/7) with SSO Authentication has been implemented.

This dedicated login is only allowed when the user already exists and is part of the M.Sitecore.Support of the out-of-the-box System owned user group:

Only an Administrator or members of the Infrastructure Support Services team can add users to the M.Sitecore.Support User group. Regular users and Superusers are not able to see this particular user group as it is hidden from their view.

The M.Sitecore.Support User group is added by the Administrator or member of the Infrastructure Support Services team in the usual manner:


Scripting does not impact any users that may utilize this Support login.

However, Audit logs are not hidden from the client.

Users assigned to the M.Sitecore.Support user group are not included in the number of licences utilized by the client.
