All the assets in archived state are displayed on the Archived assets page.
Superusers can set up the required user permissions related to archived assets within user group policies, and configure the necessary action buttons (Archive, Restore) via the Entity operations component.
To view the Archived assets page:
On the menu bar, click Manage .
On the Manage page, click Archived assets:
The non-essential renditions of archived assets are automatically deleted after a configurable number of days.
Archive an asset
Only approved assets can be archived.
To archive one or several assets:
On the Assets page, select the asset(s) that you want to archive.
Click Show all items , and select Archive:
To confirm, click OK in the Archive dialog box:
Unarchive an asset
To unarchive one asset:
On the Archived assets page, click Unarchive .
To confirm, click OK in the Unarchive screen:
To unarchive several assets:
On the Archived assets page, select the assets, and then click Unarchive in the operations bar:
To confirm, click OK in the Unarchive screen.
When you unarchive an asset, the original file and all the previously deleted renditions are reprocessed and go back to the hot tier blob.
