Are Experience Edge functionalities only available for Sitecore CMP definitions or can I use them with other Content Hub definitions?

You must have a Sitecore CMP license to use Experience Edge functionalities. When your Sitecore CMP license is active, you can extend Experience Edge functionalities to other definitions.

If you are a superuser, you can extend content collections with other definitions and configure them for publishing. For an example of how to extend content collections, see Extend content collections for products.


Is there any logging on key creation and key usage?

No, there are no logs available.


When a role does not have permissions for Experience Edge, does this mean that the role cannot generate API tokens?

Yes. When a role does not have permissions for Experience Edge that role cannot generate API tokens. See Permissions.


Which license do I need to use Experience Edge?

You need both the Experience Edge license and the Sitecore Content Marketing Platform (CMP) license.
