Profile

On the Profile page, you can customize your user account. This section describes all the available customizations.

To open the Profile page, on the right side of the menu bar, click your profile icon, and then click Profile.

Change profile picture

To upload or update your profile picture:

  1. On the left side of the page, click Change avatar.
  2. Upload a picture file using one of the following methods:

    • On the Upload tab, drag and drop the file in the upload file area.
    • On the Upload tab, click Select file, browse in your file system to find the desired file.
    • On the Take photo tab, correctly position yourself in front of the camera, then click Take photo. Click Set as avatar to save the photo or click Take photo to retake it.

To delete your profile picture, click Remove.

Important

You need to enable your camera on the page to take a photo.

Change password

To change your password:

  1. On the top right of the page, click Change password.
  2. In the Change password dialog box, provide your current password and your new password.
  3. Click Change password.

Change language

To change the display language of the interface:

  1. On the top right of the page, click More actions .
  2. Click Change language .
  3. In the Change language dialog box, select the desired language from the drop-down list.
  4. Click Save.

Change theme

To change the active theme of the interface:

  1. On the top right of the page, click More actions .
  2. Click Change theme .
  3. In the Change theme dialog box, click .
  4. In the Theme dialog box, select the theme you want to apply.
  5. Click Select
  6. Click Save.

Change time zone

To change the time zone:

  1. On the top right of the page, click More actions .
  2. Click Change time zone .
  3. In the Change time zone dialog box, select the desired time zone from the drop-down list.
  4. Click Save.

View activity

To display the recent activity logs, on the top right of the page, click More actions , then click Recent activity .

The My recent activity window displays details about your last connections. You can decide which information to show.

To customize the displayed information:

  1. On the My recent activity window, on the right side of the headers row, click Columns .
  2. Tick the boxes next to the columns you want to display.

Perform a speed test

To perform a speed test:

  1. On the top right of the page, click More actions .
  2. Click Speed test .
  3. In the Speed test window, click Start.
Note

When the test ends, the Start button label changes to Restart, but its function stays the same.

As shown on the following image, the speed test dashboard displays the results of three tests:

  • Ping: shows the latency in the system by testing the time it takes to reach the Portal and the Delivery Network. The test consists of sending a simple query and receiving a response. The speed unit is milliseconds (ms).
  • Download: tests the speed at which the data is pulled from the Portal and the Delivery Network. The speed unit is megabits per second (Mbps).
  • Upload: tests the speed at which the data is sent to the Portal and the Delivery Network. The speed unit is megabits per second (Mbps).

Note

The test may take several minutes to finish.

When the speed test ends, a Completed tag appears next to the Restart button (previously labeled Start).

The following image shows a completed speed test:

Tip

The ideal results for a speed test are a short time for Ping and high values for Download and Upload.

Set resource management

To set your daily time capacity:

  1. In the Resource management panel, click Edit .
  2. Select a value in the Daily capacity drop-down list.
  3. If you select the Custom value, set the Hour per day field.
  4. Click Save.

Configure notifications

You can choose which types of emails and real-time notifications you receive.

To set your email and notification preferences:

  1. In the Notifications panel, click Edit .
  2. Turn on the notifications you want to receive by email and in real-time.
  3. Click Save.
Note

A message board at the bottom-right corner of the screen shows the real-time UI notifications.

Tip

For convenience, you can also enable the push notifications within the browser settings to receive notifications when multitasking.
