Configure Sitecore Content Hub

To configure Sitecore Content Hub for use with the Sitecore Content Hub Digital Apps Connector, you must add the following configurations:

  • A CORS configuration.
  • A search configuration for the Assets search page.
  • A search configuration for the WIP - Work in Progress - search page.
  • An OAuth client.
Important

To configure Content Hub for use with the Sitecore Content Hub Digital Apps Connector, you must have the necessary permissions.

Add a CORS configuration

To add a CORS configuration:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage , and then click Settings.

  2. On the Settings page, find and select the CORSConfiguration taxonomy.

  3. To add a new taxonomy item, in the URL field, enter https://ci-hub.azurewebsites.net and click Add.

  4. Click Save.

Add an Assets configuration

To add an Assets configuration:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage , and then click Settings.

  2. To create a new setting, in the upper right-hand corner, click + Setting.

  3. In the Setting dialog box, in the Name field, enter CIHubAssetSearchConfig. In the Label field, you can enter anything. In the Category field, enter PortalConfiguration.

  4. Click Save.

  5. On the Settings page, click Portal configuration and then click CIHubAssetSearchConfig.

  6. In the text box that opens, in the drop-down menu, make sure Text is selected, then enter the asset configuration JSON.

  7. Click Save.

Add a WIP configuration

To add a WIP configuration:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage , and then click Settings.

  2. To create a new setting, in the upper right-hand corner, click + Setting.

  3. In the Setting dialog box, in the Name field, enter CIHubWIPSearchConfig. In the Label field, you can enter anything. In the Category field, enter PortalConfiguration.

  4. Click Save.

  5. On the Settings page, click Portal configuration and then click CIHubWIPSearchConfig.

  6. In the text box that opens, in the drop-down menu, make sure Text is selected, then enter the WIP configuration JSON.

  7. Click Save.

Add an OAuth client

To add an OAuth client:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage , and then click OAuth clients.

  2. Click + OAuth Client.

  3. In the OAuth Client dialog box that opens, enter the following:
