Sitecore Connect™ for Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Sitecore Content Hub™ can be integrated with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. By adding the Sitecore Content Hub to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a better level of security is set. Sitecore Content Hub protects all assets in a centralized repository. Customers will be able to customize emails and other marketing content in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud using approved and signed-off Assets from the Sitecore Content Hub. This ability not only improves customer engagement but also reduces "time to market," meaning the time it takes from a product being conceived until its being available for sale.
Purpose of the Connector
The marketer will be able to login to Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create marketing content, for example, an email. But through this integration, the user can include approved Assets from the Sitecore Content Hub in the Content created in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud:
The user begins the creation process in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and, when reaching the Add Content tab, can log in to the Sitecore Content Hub. The user can then select the best Asset for the Content and using a Public link insert this approved asset into the Content that is being created. Thereby bringing all the functionality of the Sitecore Content Hub and making this functionality available in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
The Sitecore Content Hub Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration package will be available from the Salesforce App Exchange.
The scope of the Sitecore Content Hub Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration using the Sitecore Connect is currently only to include assets from Sitecore Content Hub in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email App. This app is part of the Content Builder. The scope of the Sitecore Salesforce Connect scope means that the endpoints in the CORS Configuration are valid only for email creation in the Salesforce Content Builder. However, they may be extensible for other apps within the Salesforce Content Builder.
