Paging tab

Use the Paging tab to organize search results with a fixed number of items per page. You can also enable Infinite scrolling to load content continuously as you scroll down the page, which eliminates the need for paging.

When you scroll down through search results, an animation shows you that more results are loading. When there are no more results to load, you receive a notification saying that you reached the end of the available result items.

To configure paging:

1. On the menu bar, click Manage .

2. On the Manage page, click Pages.

3. In the sitemap, select the page to which you want to add the Search component.

4. On the Layout tab, in the appropriate zone, add a Search component.

5. Click the newly created component to open the component detail page.

6. On the component detail page, click the Functionality tab and then click the Paging switch to turn it on.

7. On the Paging tab, define the following settings:

   Page size	Numerical value	Defines up to three different limits. Click to add a limit.	Numerical value	Yes. Only for Pages type.

   Items per scroll	Numerical value	Defines the number of items loaded for each scroll.	Numerical value	Yes. Only for Infinite scroll type.

8. Click Save.
