Output tab
Use the Output tab to specify how the Search component displays the output of a search. You can enable one, several, or all views on the same component. When you enable multiple views, the Show view selector functionality provides a view selector to switch between available views.
The following views are available.
View | Displays |
---|---|
Inline preview | Entity details without leaving the search page, or losing the search progress, when Infinite scrolling is enabled. Previously known as the Fly-out view. |
Grid | Content with thumbnails, and one or more fields depending on the selected template. This is the default view. |
List | The search results as a list. Each item in the list represents one entity. |
Table | Search results as a table with each row representing one entity. |
Calendar | Contents with different timelines. It is particularly useful for entities with a start date and an end date (for example, projects). |
Pivot table | Search results in the form of a statistics chart that summarizes the data and provides insightful aggregations. |
Chart | Search results as a multi-dimensional chart with various aggregation operations and drill-down types. |
External template | The bindings from an external page component. |
