Reporting events
The following reporting events take place in Sitecore Content Hub and are recorded in the reporting index.
Asset
asset.approved
When a user approves an asset within the context of a task (on the task detail page), a log entry with the event_type asset.approved along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
asset.conversion.completed
An order can contain 'N' items to be downloaded. For each individual item in the order, a log entry with the event_type asset.conversion.completed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
An order creation records one log entry with the event_type order.package.created and 'N' number of log entries with the event_type asset.conversion.completed. N is the total number of targets in the download order.
asset.download.completed
When an asset is downloaded, a log entry with the event_type asset.download.completed is recorded in reporting index.
For all rendition types, the same event type with requested rendition type is recorded. For example, when download preview rendition is requested for download, event_type asset.download.completed and rendition type downloadpreview are logged along with other properties.
asset.rejected
When a user rejects an asset within the context of a task (on the task detail page), a log entry with the event_type asset.rejected along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
asset.rework
When a user reworks an asset within the context of a task (on the task detail page), a log entry with the event_type asset.rework along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
Block
block.created
When a new block is created within an activity, milestone, project or base, a log entry with the event_type block.created along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
block.started
When a user sets the status of a block as In progess, a log entry with the event_type block.started along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
block.finished
When a user sets the status of a block as Done, a log entry with the event_type block.finished along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
Chili
chili.highres.pdfprintrequested
When a chili publication is downloaded in a high-res pdf format from the chili editor, a log entry with the event_type chili.highres.pdfprintrequested along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
chili.lowres.pdfprintrequested
When a chili publication is downloaded in a low-res pdf format from the chili editor, a log entry with the event_type chili.lowres.pdfprintrequested along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
Fragment
fragment.approved
When a user approves a fragment within the context of a task (on the task detail page), a log entry with the event_type fragment.approved along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
fragment.rejected
When a user rejects a fragment within the context of a task (on the task detail page), a log entry with the event_type fragment.rejected along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
fragment.rework
When a user reworks a fragment within the context of a task (on the task detail page), a log entry with the event_type fragment.rework along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
Gateway
gatewaydownload.completed
The Gateway is an endpoint made to facilitate the integration with downstream systems. When an external system invokes the Gateway endpoint in order to fetch entities, a log entry with the event_type gatewaydownload.completed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
Lifecycle
lifecycle.approved
When an asset is approved by an authorized user, a log entry with the event_type lifecycle.approved along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
lifecycle.archived
When an asset is archived by an authorized user, a log entry with the event_type lifecycle.archived along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
lifecycle.assetdeleted
When an asset is deleted by an authorized user, a log entry with the event_type lifecycle.assetdeleted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
lifecycle.created
When a new asset is uploaded to M, a log entry with the event_type lifecycle.created along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
lifecycle.directpublished
The asset lifecycle workflow allows you to directly publish an asset without going through the whole lifecycle. When an asset is restored by an authorized user, a log entry with the event_type lifecycle.restored along with other relevant properties is recorded in the the reporting index.
lifecycle.rejected
When an asset is rejected by an authorized user, a log entry with the event_type lifecycle.rejected along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
lifecycle.restored
When an archived asset is restored by an authorized user, a log entry with the event_type lifecycle.restored along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
lifecycle.submitted
When an asset is submitted by an authorized user, a log entry with the event_type lifecycle.submitted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
Notification
notification.confirmaccount
Upon successful registration of a user account in the system, a confirmation email is sent and a log entry with the event_type notification.confirmaccount along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.discussioncreated
When a user adds a new comment (in a discussion) on a block detail page, a notification is sent and a log entry with the event_type notification.discussioncreated along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.discussionmodified
When a user updates an existing comment (in a discussion) on a block detail page, a notification is sent and a log entry with the event_type notification.discussioncreated along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.forgotpassword
When a user does a password reset using the forgot password functionality, fills in and submits the required fields for password recovery, a notification is sent and a log entry with the event_type notification.forgotpassword along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.ordercompleted
When a successful download order has been prepared by the system and a notification is sent to the user who requested the download order, a log entry with the event_type notification.ordercompleted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.orderfailed
When a failed order has been prepared by the system and a notification is sent to the user who requested the download order, a log entry with the event_type notification.orderfailed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.orderpartiallyfailed
When a partially failed download order has been prepared by the system and a notification is sent to the user who requested the download order, a log entry with the event_type notification.orderpartiallyfailed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.propertyupdated
When a property of an entity is updated and the property is configured to send out notifications, a log entry with the event_type notification.propertyupdated along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.renditioncompleted
When one or more renditions have been completed by the system, a notification is sent and a log entry with the event_type notification.renditioncompleted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.reportinglogordercompleted
A user can download the reporting logs as a download order from the Reporting Logs page. When the order is succesfully created by the system, a notification is sent to the user who requested the order and a log entry with the event_type notification.reportinglogordercompleted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.reportinglogorderfailed
When a 'reporting logs' order has failed, a notification is sent and a log entry with the event_type notification.reportinglogorderfailed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.searchchanged
When the result set of a saved search has changed, a notification is sent to all users who are subscribed to the saved search and a log entry with the event_type notification.searchchanged along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.taskcreated
When a new task is created within the context of any M.Project Block entity and a notification is sent to the users to whom the task has been assigned, a log entry with the event_type notification.taskcreated along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.taskdeclined
When a task is declined, a notification is sent and a log entry with the event_type notification.taskdeclined along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.taskdone
Upon completion of a task, a notification is sent and a log entry with the event_type notification.taskdone along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.userauditlogordercompleted
A user can request the 'user audit trail' logs as a download order from the Users page. When the order is succesfully created by the system, a notification is sent to the user who requested the order and a log entry with the event_type notification.reportinglogordercompleted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
notification.userauditlogorderfailed
When a 'user audit trail' order fails, a notification is sent and a log entry with the event_type notification.userauditlogorderfailed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
Order
order.download.completed
When an order is downloaded from the Downloads page, a log entry with the event_type order.download.completed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
order.package.created
When an order is being created from the content or create page, a log entry with the the event_type order.package.created along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
Public Link
publiclink.requested
A public link creates a URL to access a specific rendition of a file associated with an asset. When a new public link is requested from the asset detail page, a log entry with the event_type publiclink.requested along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
Task
task.accepted
Tasks are assigned to users. A user can explicitly accept the task by navigating to the task detail page. Upon accepting the task, a log entry with the event_type task.accepted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
task.assigned
When a high-privileged user creates a task and assigns it to another user or group, a log entry with the event_type task.assigned along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
task.completed
Upon completion of an assigned task, a user explicitly selects 'Done' by navigating to the task detail page. Selecting Done finalizes the task and a log entry with the event_type task.completed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
User
user.account.created
When a non-existing user tries to log in with SSO and the external identity provider issues a valid token and Sitecore Content Hub creates a user account, a log entry with the event_type user.account.created along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.account.emailblacklisted
Authorized email addresses are configured in the authentication settings. If a user tries to log in with an unauthorized email address, a log entry with the event_type user.account.emailblacklisted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.account.emailconfirmation
When a user registers into the system for the first time, an email is sent to confirm the registration. Unless the user confirms the account registration, each time the user tries to log into the system, a new email is sent.
When the confirmation email is sent, a log entry with the event_type user.account.emailconfirmation along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.account.modified
When a user email address is modified successfully, a log entry with the event_type user.account.modified along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.account.notcreated
When a user tries to create and submit account details directly in Sitecore Content Hub or using SSO and the account registration fails for any reason, a log entry with the event_type user.account.notcreated along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.activated
Restricted users can be re-activated by a high-privileged user. Upon activation, a log entry with the event_type user.activated along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.changepassword.completed
When the current user changes the existing password, a log entry with the event_type user.changepassword.completed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.created
When a new user entity is created, a log entry with the event_type user.created along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.deleted
When a user entity is deleted, a log entry with the event_type user.deleted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.impersonated
When a high-privileged user impersonates another user, a log entry with the event_type user.impersonated along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.lockedout
A user can retry to log into the system until the configured number of retries has been exceeded. When this occurs, the user is locked out of the system and a log entry with the event_type user.lockedout along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.login.failed
When a user fails to log into Sitecore Content Hub because of incorrect credentials or an invalid token, a log entry with the event_type user.login.failed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.login.notassociated
When a user tries to log in using SSO, but the external identity provider does not issue a valid response, a log entry with the event_type user.login.notassociated along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.login.success
When a user succeeds the log into M, a log entry with the event_type user.login.success along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.logout
When a user explicitly logs out from M, a log entry with the event_type user.logout along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.modified
When an existing user entity is modified, a log entry with the event_type user.modified along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.passwordreset
When a high-privileged user resets the password of another user, or when a user uses the 'forgot password' functionality, a log entry with the event_type user.passwordreset along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.passwordreset.completed
When a user uses the 'forgot password' functionality, an email is sent containing a link to reset the password. When the user resets the password by clicking the link, a log entry with the event_type user.passwordreset.completed along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
user.restricted
When a high-privileged user restricts another user, a log entry with the event_type user.restricted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
User Group
usergroup.created
When a new usergroup entity is created, a log entry with the event_type usergroup.created along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
usergroup.deleted
When a usergroup entity is deleted, a log entry with the event_type usergroup.deleted along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
usergroup.modified
When a usergroup entity is modified, a log entry with the event_type usergroup.modified along with other relevant properties is recorded in the reporting index.
privileges.added
When a usergroup entity is modified by adding privileges, a log entry with the event_type privileges.added is recorded in the reporting index, along with other relevant properties (such as created by, modified by and created on).
privileges.removed
When a usergroup entity is modified by removing privileges, a log entry with the event_type privileges.removed is recorded in the reporting index, along with other relevant properties (such as created by, modified by and created on).
