Edit a product family

To edit a product family:

1. On the Product families page, click the required product family to open its detail page.

2. Under the Details tab, click Edit to edit the details of the product family. The fields included in the details are as follows.

   Field	Description
   Name	The name of the product family (mandatory).
   Label	The label to be displayed for the product family (optional).
   Brand	The brands that the product family belongs to (optional). The product family can belong to multiple brands. Click + to display the Brands dialog box and select the desired brands.
   Product category	The product categories that the product family belongs to (optional). The product family can belong to multiple product categories. Click + to display the Product categories dialog box and select the desired product categories.
   Short description	The short description of the product family (optional). The short description is a short free-text field.
   Long description	The extended description of the product family (optional). The long description is a long free-text field that utilizes the CK editor to add formatted text and images.

3. Once you have finished editing the details, click Save.
