Download, installation, and authentication

The following section explains how to download, install and authenticate Sitecore Connect™ for Creative Cloud™.

License activation

To activate your license:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage .

  2. Click Users .

  3. On the required User or User group, click Details .

  4. Click Edit .

  5. On the Modules field, click + to add modules.

  6. On the Modules dialog box, select the Sitecore connect for Creative Cloud module.

  1. Click OK.

User group

Users must belong to the M.Builtin.CreativeCloud.Everyone user group to use the Sitecore connect for Creative Cloud module. For details on adding a user to a user group, see Add a user to a group.

Note

The Superuser group has the required permissions for using the Sitecore connect for Creative Cloud module.

Install package

To install the Sitecore Connect for Creative Cloud package:

  1. On the menu bar, click Profile .
  2. Select Profile.
  3. On the Profile page, click More actions .
  4. Click Install packages.

  1. Click Download on the required ZIP package:

    • Sitecore Connect for Creative Cloud for Mac.
    • Sitecore Connect for Creative Cloud for Windows.

Downloading and installing

The following steps explain how to download and install the package:

  1. Download and install your package on your hard drive.

  2. Open Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign. Sitecore Connect for Creative Cloud is available as an extension:

Warning

Sitecore Connect for Creative Cloud cannot upload local links if the tenant has the distributed upload mode enabled. We advise disabling the distributed upload mode, so users are not asked to confirm the upload of local links as new assets during each upload:
