Default renditions
Several predefined renditions are available for download by default in Sitecore Content Hub.
The following table lists the default media renditions.
| Rendition | Description |
|---|---|
| Original | Original version of the asset. |
| Metadata | Metadata of the asset rendered in JSON format. |
Rendition of the asset in PDF format. | |
| Preview | Preview rendition used in the inline preview view. |
| Medium | Rendition used to download the preview format of the asset. |
| Thumbnail | Thumbnail rendition showing on assets tiles in the grid view. |
| Big thumbnail | Larger thumbnail rendition showing on the Asset details page. |
Warning
Preview is not the rendition used for the download preview. To download the preview rendition of an asset, you need to download the Medium rendition.
Tip
If the rendition you want is not available by default, you can create custom renditions when downloading assets.
