Display template
A display template determines how asset information is displayed in Sitecore Content Hub™. When you create an entity from the entity definition, if the Display template field contains:
- {FileName}: Content Hub displays the filename of the entity instead of the default entity ID.
- {PropertyName}: Content Hub displays the entity name instead of the default entity ID.
- {Title}: Content Hub displays the entity title instead of the default entity ID.
- No value: Content Hub display the default entity ID as entity name.
Note
You must be in edit mode to define a display template property.
In the following example, the display template property is {FileName} so all entities are listed using the entity file names.
To set the display template:
On the menu bar, click Manage .
On the Manage page, click Entities.
On the Entities page, on the required entity definition, click Edit .
On the top-right corner of the entity definition detail page, click Actions , and then click Settings.
In the Edit definition dialog box, in the Display template field, specify the property you want to use in curly brackets (for example, {PropertyName}), and click Save.
Back on the entity definition detail page, click APPLY CHANGES to confirm your changes.
